The Step-by-Step Process

Design and Mold Creation

  1. Conceptualization: The process begins with the design phase, where patterns and colors are carefully chosen. Our designers work closely with clients to create custom designs that meet their specific needs and preferences.
  2. Mold Preparation: Custom molds are created based on the selected designs. These molds are used to shape the tiles and ensure consistency in size and pattern.

Mixing and Coloring

  1. Pigment Mixing: Natural mineral pigments are mixed with white or gray cement to create vibrant, long-lasting colors. These pigments are eco-friendly and ensure that the colors remain rich and vivid over time.
  2. Layering the Pigment: The colored cement mixture is poured into the mold to form the top layer of the tile. This layer will be visible once the tile is installed, so precision and care are essential.

Layering and Pressing

  1. Base Layering: A mixture of cement and sand is added on top of the colored layer to provide strength and stability to the tile. This base layer ensures the tile’s durability and resistance to wear and tear.
  2. Hydraulic Pressing: The mold is placed in a hydraulic press, which compacts the layers and ensures a solid, dense tile. This pressing process is crucial for creating a tile that is both strong and resilient.

Curing and Drying

  1. Initial Curing: After pressing, the tiles are carefully removed from the molds and placed in a controlled environment to begin the curing process. This initial curing helps the tiles set and gain some of their strength.
  2. Final Curing: The tiles are then submerged in water for several days to complete the curing process. This step ensures that the tiles reach their maximum hardness and durability.

Finishing Touches

  1. Quality Inspection: Each tile undergoes a rigorous quality inspection to ensure it meets our high standards. Any tiles that do not pass inspection are either reworked or discarded.
  2. Edge Smoothing: The edges of the tiles are smoothed and refined to ensure a perfect fit during installation. This step ensures that the tiles are uniform and ready for use.

Customization and Packaging

  1. Customization: For custom orders, additional steps may be taken to apply unique patterns, colors, or sizes as specified by the client. Our team works closely with customers to achieve their desired results.
  2. Packaging: The finished tiles are carefully packaged to protect them during shipping. Each package is labeled and prepared for delivery to ensure safe and efficient transport to our customers.
