Yes, on floors and walls. Tiles and grout need to be sealed to make them 100% waterproof.

Yes. Seal with a penetrating sealer plus an acrylic top coat — grease splatters then clean off with regular soap and water.

Yes — make sure the wood surface is hard and not flexible, and use a cement backer board.

Yes. Our tiles are compact and resist water absorption; we still recommend sealing tiles and grout so there is no expansion.

Yes — cement is a perfect material to conduct heat. Installation is the same as with any other tile.
